How do I check my eeroOS version?

We release eeroOS updates on a rolling basis. New versions will be pushed to all customers' networks within a few weeks of public release. Your eero won't be updated immediately after a new version is released.

Through these updates, we're able to provide your eero system with the latest fixes and enhancements that keep your wifi running smoothly. You can check the version of eeroOS installed on a particular eero by following these steps:

  1. Open the eero App, and tap the Home tab

  2. Tap the nickname of the eero. If the eero has up-to-date software, the version number is shown below Software updates. If a new version is available, the message “Update available” will be shown instead

  3. Tap Software updates. The eero’s current software version is shown below Current version. The latest available version is shown under “An update is available”

  4. The update will install automatically during the times shown under Preferred update time. If you want to manually install the latest version, tap the Install now button
