Does eero replace my Internet Service Provider?

No, eero doesn't replace your Internet Service Provider (ISP). To use eero, you'll still need an ISP. For compatibility information with your specific ISP type, see Can I use eero with my current ISP or modem?

What is an ISP?

An ISP, such as Comcast or AT&T, provides internet service to your home or business. Based on your ISP, you can get different upload/download speeds and other services.

Your ISP takes care of getting an internet signal to your house. Once you plug an eero into your existing modem and set it up, eero takes care of everything else and begins covering your house in wifi.
