Is eero protected against KRACK?

Yes, eero is protected against the WPA2 security vulnerability known as KRACK.

All eeros are KRACK-secure right out of the box (firmware v3.5.0 or later). No special action is needed to protect your network from this vulnerability. 

How do I check my firmware version?

To check your own eero network and confirm you’re on v3.5.0 or later:

  1. On the eero App Home tab, and tap the eero whose firmware version you'd like to see

  2. Locate Software Version, the firmware version is listed here

Note: Updating your network will cause it to automatically reboot.
