Why does my eero show "Wifi disabled"?

If your eero shows "Wifi disabled," it means wifi has been turned off on that specific eero to help improve overall network performance. Your eero is still part of your network, but it isn't broadcasting wifi to nearby devices. When wifi is disabled on an eero, you will see "0 devices · Wifi disabled" in the eero app on that eero's device details screen. Even with wifi turned off, the eero stays connected to your network and continues to support wired connections.

Wifi can be disabled by contacting eero Support, or by your ISP if you have ISP Provided eeros.

How does this affect my network?

Turning off wifi on an eero means devices near it can no longer connect to it wirelessly. Those devices should automatically connect to another nearby eero on your network instead.

Note: Disabling wifi on an eero may reduce wireless coverage in that area of your home. If you notice connection issues or weak coverage after this change, contact eero Support.

How do I re-enable wifi on my eero?

To re-enable wifi on your eero, contact eero Support.
