Why does the eero app ask for my age?
The eero app may ask you to verify your age when you first download the app, after an update, or when using the app. We do this to comply with age verification requirements in some jurisdictions that may require app stores to verify whether users are 18 or older before allowing app downloads, in-app purchases, or continued use of apps with subscriptions, like the eero app.
To verify your age, your device may need to be set up to share this information with your app store. For more information, see our Terms of Service.
How do I update my age verification settings?
If you declined the age-sharing prompt or need to update your settings, see the links below for your device:
Once your age is verified as being 18 or over, you should be able to download and use the eero app.
What if the owner of my network is under 18?
You must be 18 or over to use the eero app or create an eero account. If the owner of your network is under 18, the network will need to be transferred to a user who is 18 or older. If the network isn't transferred, access to manage the network through the eero app will be lost.
To transfer your network, contact eero Support.
