eero blankets your whole home with fast, secure wifi you can count on.
Our software makes all the difference.
Our patented TrueMesh software, combined with TrueRoam and TrueChannel, proactively keeps you on the optimal and most reliable wifi connection possible.
TrueMesh
TrueMesh network intelligence dynamically finds the optimal path for data transfer, limiting interference and helping ensure fast, reliable internet.
TrueRoam
TrueRoam allows your devices to seamlessly transition to the ideal eero as you move around.
TrueChannel
TrueChannel intelligently chooses which wifi channels your devices connect on for optimal performance.
WI-FI TECHNOLOGY
What is the difference between Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 6?
Step into the future of internet speeds with Wi-Fi 7 technology.
Wi-Fi 7 technology is like going from a three-lane network highway (Wi-Fi 6) to a six-lane highway, doubling the amount of traffic your network can handle. It provides lower latency, greater capacity, and more efficiency for all your devices.
Advanced Security
Smart security, too.
Protection for your wifi
With world-class encryption and security protocols, eero systems are compatible with the strongest security protocols available in consumer wifi today. WPA3 (an optional eero Labs feature) provides an extra layer of protection for your network password, and individualized encryption helps keep your network secure.
Goes the extra mile
eero leverages third-party security reviewers to help keep your network safe. We even work with the global research community to find and fix issues before you experience them.
Compatibility + Updates
Works with any setup. Gets better over time.
Over-the-air updates bring new features and improvements, so your wifi just keeps getting better. Plus, with simple eero device setup, you can easily expand your network with additional eero devices as your needs change.
FAQs
The eero 6 systems are equipped with a built-in Zigbee smart home hub, eliminating the need for additional Zigbee hubs around the home. Featuring a built-in Zigbee smart home hub, the eero 6 systems connect compatible devices on your network with Alexa so you don’t need a separate Zigbee smart home hub for each device. You will need to link your eero and Amazon accounts to use this feature.
eero uses our TrueMesh technology. TrueMesh ensures every eero connects wirelessly to every other eero in range, on both the 2.4 GHz and the 5 GHz wifi bands. This creates a dense network of connections and many possible paths for traffic to flow. So your network stays strong and is less likely to come to a crawl—even if there’s wireless interference from the neighbor’s baby monitor or heavy gaming traffic in the family room.
eero doesn’t replace your modem, it replaces your router. The first eero in your eero network plugs into your existing cable or DSL modem.

Some features require linking your Amazon account, and downloading the Alexa application or using a compatible Alexa device. Internet connection speeds and availability depend on your internet service provider; if your internet service provider does not provide you with the maximum supported speed, you will not experience that maximum speed. Maximum network speeds, if applicable, reflect combined supported speeds across wired and wireless clients. Maximum wireless signal rates are derived from IEEE 802.11 standard. Specifications assume wired Ethernet connection; your experienced speed may vary when connected to an eero device that is configured as a wireless extender. Coverage estimates are based on normal use conditions. Actual range and performance can vary, and maximum supported speeds may not be available to all customers, due to factors such as local regulations (including power limits), network configuration, interference, connected devices, device usage, building materials, and obstructions. For eero 6+ and eero Pro 6E, specifications are based on use of a Wi-Fi 6 (or for eero Pro 6E in Canada, Wi-Fi 6E) or later generation client device that supports 160 MHz. For eero 6, eero 6 extender, and eero Pro 6, specifications are based on use of a Wi-Fi 6 or later client device. For eero, eero Beacon, and eero Pro, specifications are based on use of a Wi-Fi 5 or later client device. For more information about eero performance, visit support.eero.com
