Maintaining Your Device
Do not expose your Device or adaptor to liquids. If your Device or adaptor gets wet, carefully unplug all cables without getting your hands wet and wait for the Device and adaptor to dry completely before plugging them in again. Do not attempt to dry your Device or adaptor with an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or a hair dryer. If the Device or adaptor appear damaged, discontinue use immediately. Use only accessories supplied with the Device to power your Device. To avoid risk of electric shock, do not touch your Device or any wires connected to your Device during a lightning storm.
Only handle your Device with clean hands. Clean the Device with a soft cloth that is slightly damp with water and a touch of rubbing alcohol; be careful not to wipe it with anything abrasive or to use any harsh chemicals. Don't expose your Device to steam, extreme heat or cold. For example, do not install your Device near any heat sources such as space heaters, heater vents, radiators, stoves, or other things that produce heat. Use your Device in a location where temperatures remain within the Device's operating temperature range set forth in this guide.
Use of third-party accessories may impact your Device’s performance. In limited circumstances, use of third-party accessories may void your Device’s limited warranty. This warranty applies in addition to (and does not exclude or limit) any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Read all safety instructions for any accessories before using with your Device.
Only use the included power adaptor with your Device. Do not force the power adaptor into a power outlet. If the power adaptor or cable appears damaged, discontinue use immediately. Do not plug multiple electric devices into the same wall socket. Overloading a socket can cause it to overheat and may result in a fire.
Your Device may get warm during normal use. To reduce the effect of the warming, place your Device on a heat resistant surface.
Other Safety Considerations
Small parts contained in your Device and its accessories may present a choking hazard to small children.
For safety, compliance and other information regarding any networking equipment or computer connected to your Device, please consult the user manual and other information provided by the manufacturer.
Install your power adaptor into an easily accessible socket-outlet located near the equipment that will be plugged into, or powered by, the adaptor.
To avoid risk of electric shock, do not touch your Device or any wires connected to your Device during a lightning storm.
Do not expose adaptor or cable to liquids.

eero Pro 6E and eero Max 7 products are for indoor use only.
RADIO FREQUENCY EXPOSURE
eero Pro 6E and eero Max 7 devices have been evaluated and meet the applicable regulatory requirements for exposure to radio waves and are designed and manufactured not to exceed the permissible radio frequency (RF) exposure limits. To comply with applicable RF exposure compliance requirements, a distance of at least 22 cm should be maintained between the antenna of this device and persons during device operation.
Using Your Device Around Other Electronic Devices
Your Device generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency (RF) energy and, if not used in accordance with its instructions, may cause interference to radio communications and electronic equipment. External RF signals may affect improperly installed or inadequately shielded electronic operating systems, entertainment systems, and personal medical devices. While most modern electronic equipment is shielded from external RF signals, if in doubt, check with the manufacturer. For personal medical devices (such as pacemakers and hearing aids), consult with your physician or the manufacturer to determine if they are adequately shielded from external RF signals.
Recycling Your Device Properly

Low Power Mode and Wi-Fi Off
Overview
eero Pro 6 (K010001) / eero 6 extender (Q010001) / eero 6+ (R010001) / eero Pro 6E (S010001) / eero Max 7 (V010001) provide users the option to enter a Low Power Mode and disable wifi radios.
Entering Low Power Mode
Low power standby mode (off mode) can be enabled with the following procedure:
After the device is fully setup and on, tap the reset button on the back of the unit 10 times (10 presses)
Device will immediately enter low power standby mode and LED indicator will turn off
Device is now in the low power standby mode
To return to normal Wi-Fi mode, power cycle the device by unplugging the device from the power connector or at the wall
Deactivating Wi-Fi
Networked standby mode, where Wi-Fi is disabled but wired ethernet is still active, can be enabled in the following way:
After the device is fully setup and on, tap the reset button on the back of the unit 8 times (8 presses)
Device will reboot (indicated by a flashing white LED indicator)
Device is now in the “Wi-Fi off” networked standby mode
To return to normal Wi-Fi mode, power cycle the device through the reset button or by unplugging the device from the power connector or at the wall
