Is eero waterproof or water resistant?

Most eeros aren't waterproof or water resistant and aren't ideal for outdoor use. For this reason, we strongly recommend keeping these devices inside. To extend coverage outdoors, place an eero near the exterior wall closest to your outdoor space.

For outdoor environments, we offer the eero Outdoor 7 as a solution. The eero Outdoor 7 is the first eero device designed specifically for use in a variety of outdoor conditions, and it's water resistant with an IP66 rating. Learn more about the eero Outdoor 7.
