Why does my eero app say "Allow Bluetooth Access"?

Your eero uses Bluetooth to connect to your phone during setup. This message appears when the eero app doesn't have permission to use Bluetooth on your device.

How do I allow Bluetooth access?

  • iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth, then tap the toggle next to eero.

  • Android: Go to Settings, search for App permissions, then enable Bluetooth for the eero app. (The exact path varies by device manufacturer.)

After enabling Bluetooth access, return to the eero app and try setup again.

Note: Bluetooth is only required during setup. You can disable it afterward if preferred.
